Want to work towards making Newark more green, healthy, and sustainable? Do you love trees? Are you interested in learning more about the air quality in our city? Then, come and join an NGT committee!
We hear your concerns, and we're ready for action! The admin team has been working hard to jump-start three new projects, and we are looking for volunteers.
Come and Join the Tree Project committee, where volunteers will set up a process to spend available funds on trees and review existing tree ordinances.
We also are looking for volunteers for an Air Quality Monitoring Committee. Come and Participate in an innovative public health research project to identify air pollutant risks faced by Newark community members. We need your help in hosting air quality monitors in our community.
The Adopt a lot lease committee will focus on strengthening the adopt-a-lot program.
